Frequently Asked Question: How does one join the Liturgical Arts Working Group?

 

Thank you for your interest in building with Bayit!

We select collaborators for this group with an eye toward balance of several kinds — denominational diversity, demographic diversity, diversity of artistic medium and style, etc.

We also look for artists and writers who have a track record of skillful collaboration with others. We’ve evolved a process of brainstorming, creating, workshopping, and revising together that asks all of us to set ego aside for the sake of collaboration and co-creation. Our process is described in more detail in the preface to Accept Our Prayers, the Amidah companion we released in Sept. 2026 with Ben Yehuda Press.

If after reading about our process you feel that this group could be a good fit for you, you are welcome to submit a sample of your work for our consideration. Please also tell us how you’ve used our work in your own spiritual practice or (if you are in leadership as clergy or a layperson) in the community you serve.
